Shiningheart nearly stumbled in her laughter when Mosswhisker swatted Blizzardshard. "Oh great StarClan!" She gasped out, shaking her head. Shiningheart butted Mosswhisker's side with her head, her own grin spreading out across her muzzle. "His mother never really cared about manners or that sort of stuff." She meowed, smiling up at Blizzardshard's scoff.

"No, no she didn't." He answered her, rolling his eyes and glaring at StarClan. "If the deputy ordered an attack, she would attack. If they deputy ordered her to hurt a kit, she would have hurt a kit. Especially this one." He nudged Shiningheart a bit, his grin matching hers.

Shiningheart gasped in mock-outrage. "I am not a kit!" She whined, stomping her paw onto the ground to prove her point. Her pout kind of contradicted her words though.

Mosswhisker didn't try to stifle her loud purr of laughter. She raised her head in mock superiority."You should be getting back to the nursery little kit," the gray she cat mewed, nudging Shiningheart lightly. "Don't you think, Venomwind, you should take your tiny sister back to the nursery before she gets carried off by a sparrow!" she laughed, trying to get the older she cat involved in the party- thing. "StarClan! I always hated being caught sneaking out of camp! Then the older warriors would give that whole 'a bird will carry you away' thing," Mosswhisker replied returning to her normal posture.

Shiningheart glared at Mosswhisker, looking away with a 'hmph'. She refused to look at the much larger cats, so Blizzardshard answered Mosswhisker's barb instead. "It doesn't matter if we take her back to the nursery or not. She'll sneak out again and again and again. just like our kitten-days." He meowed wistfully, letting out a bark of laughter that sounded far too dog-like to belong to a cat. "And I'd rather be carried off by a bird than eaten by a fox." He nudged Shiningheart to make her speak.

The petite deputy sighed in annoyance before glaring lightly at Blizzardshard. "While admittedly that is my fault, wasn't I also the one that saved your furry butt?"

Mosswhisker chortled."Well, we might get eaten by a fox and need your help if we all just sit laughing like a bunch of mockingbirds!" she shot a look at Blizzardshard,"Especially you!But the foxes would probably think your one of them with a laugh like that," she teased playfully, running to hide behind Shiningheart just in case.

Blizzardshard drew back as if Mosswhisker has just swung a paw at him. "Hey now, that's not nice!" He meowed, trying to look offended. He looked at Venomwind, a pout upsetting his features. "Venomwind! Mosswhisker's being mean to me!" He complained to the dark gray she-cat.

Venomwind glared at Mosswhisker for a few heart-beats before patting her approvingly on the head with her tail. "Good Mosswhisker, keep it up!"

Fake tears swam in Blizzardshard's amber eyes, and he buried his face in Shiningheart's neck. A fake wail rose from the large tom. "I'm so unloved!" He whined to the petite she-cat.

Shiningheart purred in laughter before wrapping her tail consolingly around Blizzardshard's shoulders. "Aw, I love you Blizzardshard!" She mewed playfully, batting her eye-lashes at her kitten-hood friend.

Mosswhisker shot a proud look to Venomwind, but it was quickly disentegrated by a loud sneeze. "Well, it looks like your not in pain anymore, but we still need to get Blizzardshard to camp for his pain!" she mewed to the deputy. "But, of course, I don't think Mosspelt will have cure for his kind of pain. He'd probably just tell him to go back to the nursery!" she snickered. Then, Mosswhisker's eyes softened sympathetically and she meowed, "Alright I'll stop being mean, sorry Blizzardshard."

Shiningheart rolled her eyes. "He's just pretending, Mosswhisker." She meowed to the she-cat, shoving Blizzardshard away to show his face. A goofy grin adorned his muzzle. "Please, don't apologize to this stupid furball."

Blizzardshard pouted before looking serious. "Though, Mosswhisker does bring up a good point." He looked at her wounds. "How are you even able to walk with that??"

Shiningheart shrugged. "Trust me, I'm inwardly writhing in horrible agony." She joked. "But mostly I'm just ignoring the pain."
