Alright, so as you might be aware there is some changes going on. I'm going to be cleaning out the bio board totally, archiving all of the cats. You can then re-post your bio into the new format, when it is created. But I was wondering; should we have multiple accounts for our characters? For example, I would have a Jetstar and a Wispstripe account? I prefer this idea totally, seeing as I have seen it work many times before. But I need you, the general public, to decide. So, what do you think?
Thoughts and questions please post below.

I'm not that fond of the idea. You'd have to have separate emails for each account, and you'd have to remember the passwords for both the different emails AND the different site accounts. And you could cheat by giving each account a karma point from the other XD. And then there's the fact that you'd have to switch accounts to rp both cats at the same time. I just don't think it's a good idea.

Well, to be honest, I've never tried the account-per-cat method. I'll give it a go, though. But having a main account would be handy-dandy for out of character things, like the general board, and all that other stuff.
Karma points are just for fun, right? So I doubt it matters if you have 100 karma or 0 karma. Regarding e-mail, we ought to just make up a random e-mail. PMs could be accessed on our main account.
By the way, when all the bios go poof, can we choose not to re-create our cats?

Well, you're able to use the same e-mail adress for each account. I always do. And if this were to go into affect, I have an alias code that I could use that would allow you to use both accounts at the same time. And about the karma points, I don't think that there would be anything wrong with crediting yourself xD But thank you for your opinion.
To Hamster, you'd also be able to use your cat accounts for general and all that stuff. The main account is great for PMs and organizing your many cats, if you have a lot. And yes, when the biographies are sent the archives, you can choose whether or not you would like to keep your cats. If there's one cat that you'd rather not play the cat will be put up for adoption, for other people to adopt. Or, you can just choose that you don't want anyone rping it and leave it in the archives.
Thanks for the feedback so quickly! Spot

*mutters* Unless you've got a big head and uses the amount of karma points to lord it over all of the new member's heads.
And Hammy's question made me think of something about the character clean-out. Will there be a limit on the number of cats we can make? Cause I don't want to make the mistake of going over the limit without knowing again.

Yes, a limit will be added. For now, I'm not too sure what it will be. Have patience, young grasshopper. It'll probably be about 5 cats, then afterwards you'll have to obtain more by means of contest. But if you're already over that, then you can keep it without worry.

I would say no, seeing as it would be too confusing. One or the other.

What about an account per Clan?

Just my two cents, but seeing as 5 cats is the general limit, most people would make a cat in each clan and a loner/kittypet/rogue.

Shiningheart, could you explain? Like, an account for all your characters in one clan? Otherwise what Hamster was saying answers that. Or do you mean one account that all people post from?

No, I mean, like, one account for each Clan. There would be an account for ThunderClan, an account for RiverClan, an account for ShadowClan, and an account for WindClan. Anything that means I don't have to make three accounts for Shiningheart, Venomwind, and Blizzardshard.

Hmm, that is a good idea. But I have some questions about it. One, what about those who don't have more than one cat in a clan? Two, what would their title be? Shiningheart's RiverClan Cats? That's too long. And it can't be RiverClan, because there will be too many of them. However, if we were to do one account per cat it would be Venomwind, Blizzardshard, Shiningheart, etc.
A new question as well ; Should we put down a maximum signature size?

No, it would just be name name of your main cat. So, my ThunderClan account would be Shiningheart, RiverClan would be Ripplestream, ShadowClan would be Dawnfire, and WindClan would be Eaglestar.

Seeing as our signature sizes are pretty small as of now, I vote no for the siggy limit. But if they balloon to a terribly huge size, then yeah.
