Appearance: Nightshade is about an average sized, average weighed cat. Her pelt is jet black and a bit short, though she does take pride in the fact that it is sleek and shiny. She has yellow eyes, and they don't see as well as she'd like them too. To make up for that, her medium sized ears are sharp. Her paws are slightly larger than usual, which aid her in swimming but trip her on land.
Personality: She is a kind, gentle, and understanding cat, though when the time comes she will unsheathe her claws and defend for her clan at her fiercest. Though it may seem an impossible task with more difficult cats, she tries to befriend everyone. Sometimes, she spaces out a lot, because she's too busy thinking about other things. That causes a lot of cats to snap at her. When approaching new cats, she is surprisingly shy and tries not to show any signs of being on guard, even though she is. She is also very patient and doesn't mind waiting a long time for others.
