//Basic Information

Independence was created January 23rd, intended to be just a feral cat Role-Play site. After doing a Poll on a different site I am a member of, I decided to make it half and half, feral and warriors. After some work, and with 6 members, Independence is finished, and is open to join and Role-Play.

//Goals

Our goal at Independence is to create a fun community to chat and role-play with other members. Hopefully, everybody here can have fun and be friends, with no pressure. Even though Independence is currently small, one day it won’t be, our goal is to get fun, active members, to have the time of our lives.

;;The Clans

At Independence, we proudly have four clans of cats, originally from the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Thunderclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan and Windclan have moved from the lake, after yet again Two-legs destroyed it, this time by polluting the lake, and the forest around it. They moved, and found a forest, different from their old home, but able to provide shelter and prey for all the clans, and settled there. The peace between the clans is starting to break though. First, about the Mossy Rocks, the place where all clans stayed when they first arrived at this forest. The moss is plentiful, and there’s quite a bit of prey, but none of the leaders can figure out a suitable solution to which clan gets this piece of territory. Right now, they’ve made it their gathering spot, but really, each clan is plotting to get it.
Riverclan is trying to claim the area around Sky-Cliff, saying that since Starclan showed Skykit, a Riverclan kit, the new Moonpool, that Riverclan is deserving of the territory surrounding it. But Thunderclan says different, since they are closest, it should be there’s.

Shadowclan is suffering problems within there selves, for there is a murderer within the clan, but so sly, no cat has figured out who it is. Each cat fears for their lives, and Windclan being the clan next, with already two cats killed, are also.

;;The Ferals

Living in the streets and Alleyways is no easy life for any cat, yet lots of cats and kits live that life everyday. Prey is scarce, to survive, you can’t be afraid to get your fur dirty and go into a garbage clan. Sometimes, a restaurant owner will take pity on some cats, and throw out some leftover food, but you still have to fight for every bite. Sometimes Two-legs will give you food too, but going up to one is a big risk, some aren’t fond of feral cats, and will kick you, or catch you, and take you into a Shelter. Cat’s get stuck there in a cage for a long time, until they fall asleep forever, or a two-leg comes along and takes you home to be their new kittypet.

Life on the Rich Side isn’t so easy either. Two-legs here are more likely to kill you with a bang then take you to a Shelter, but the food here is plentiful. To some cats, it’s worth risking your life for a full stomach
