Echopaw looked up. "I'll stay here instead of picking herbs if you like. I was just going out to get more before any more bad weather comes." she mewed to Rabbitear and Jetstar.

Jetstar watched the conversation that was unveiling around him. So far, they had two cats on the patrol. If Cinderfur joined them, it would be three. If he joined, four. That would be enough for a hunting party.
"Rabbitear, you know quite well that there are other cats in this clan besides you. Stormclaw will be here, as will Mudclaw and Echopaw. Besides, although there probably would be quite a few cats that would want to steal some ShadowClan territory, they're not getting it on our watch. So, I take it that we are heading out?"Nodding towards the other felines, the brujo walked over towards the entrance of the camp, his muscles rippling underneath his shining black pelt. He was ready to go hunting.

"Yes, Jetstar," Rabbitear nodded,"I would never suggest that any cat would be foolish enough to attack our camp, and even if they did they would never get through our warriors." Finally, the cold seemed to be wearing out of his bones and he felt a rush of happiness, not something that happened very often. The brown tabby crouched down and lunged forward, as if stalking and attacking a poor mouse. The tabby warrior stopped short and looked back towards the patrol and smiled, awkwardly.
Suddenly, Rabbitear straighened himself back up and flicked his white ears up attentively. "Sorry Jetstar, forgive me for my outburst," he mewed, ashamed,"Um, yes, I believe this is all of us." He looked over the other the rest of the patrol,Cinderfur and Dawnfire and nodded.
