Springpaw purred slightly. "Its an acquired taste!" he laughed softly. "Honestly, I never had a problem with it. I always perferred it to the taste of blood, but now that you mention it, I guess they do sort of have a different taste," he meowed around the leaves. Springpaw sighed wistfully and the faint glint of nostalgia entered his yellow eyes "When I first became a medicine cat, the smell of the herbs used to give me a headache, it didn't take long for me to get used that, though. It's all worth it in the end, when you can talk to StarClan and actually understand them." Springpaw leaped over a fallen branch and added,"Even though I dont like it, I know I still have to fight for my clan every now and then."
